Stats & Training
Naganadel's built around special offense. Sp. Atk leads the charge, HP pays for it. Tough to catch, worth 3 Sp. Atk EVs. Follows a slow 1.25M XP grind.
It stores hundreds of liters of poisonous liquid inside its body. It is one of the organisms known as UBs.
One kind of Ultra Beast, it fires a glowing, venomous liquid from its needles. This liquid is also immensely adhesive.
Naganadel Weakness
Naganadel is weak to Ice, Ground, Psychic, and Dragon. 7 resistances give it solid defensive coverage on top of that. Naganadel leans toward special offense (base 127 Sp.Atk) instead of trying to wall anything.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Ice, Ground, Psychic, Dragon |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Water, Electric, Fighting, Poison, Bug |
| 0.25x (Resist) | Grass |
In Sword & Shield, Runerigus's Poltergeist hits Naganadel for 52-61%. Salamence threatens a KO with Earthquake (102-120%). Lunatone's Psychic also KOs at 117-138%.

How to Get Naganadel in Sword & Shield
Naganadel Guide
In Sword & Shield, Naganadel has a 540 base stat total and ranks as B-Tier: a solid option in Sword & Shield for the right team. It works best as a sweeper. Sludge Bomb with Focus Sash is the standard set.
In Sword & Shield, Naganadel's biggest threats include Kyurem (Ice), Rhydon (Ground), and Starmie (Psychic), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Dragon-type attackers are also a problem. Naganadel's base 121 Speed lets it outpace many threats and strike first, which matters more than trying to tank hits.
Beast Boost is the go-to ability for Naganadel. It raises this Pokémon's highest stat by one stage when it faints another Pokémon. It's Naganadel's only ability.
In Sword & Shield, Naganadel fills the sweeper role. It's a special attacker with base 127 Sp. Atk. Base 121 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Sword & Shield, the core moveset is Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Draco Meteor, and Protect. Sludge Bomb leads at 21% usage. This set covers the sweeper role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
