Stats & Training
The stat budget goes to damage. Attack and Speed carry the offense, Defense doesn't even come close. A Gloomdweller Pokemon on a slow 1.25M XP grind, worth 3 Attack and Speed EVs per KO.
By slipping into the shadow of a martial arts master and copying their movements, this Pokémon learned the ultimate techniques.
This Pokémon can conceal itself in any shadow, so it went undiscovered for a long time.
Marshadow Weakness
Type-wise, Marshadow takes extra damage from Flying, Psychic, Ghost, and Fairy. Normal and Fighting moves do nothing thanks to a full immunity.

| 2x (Weak) | Flying, Psychic, Ghost, Fairy |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Poison, Rock |
| 0.25x (Resist) | Bug |
| 0x (Immune) | Normal, Fighting |
In Sword & Shield, Celesteela's Air Slash hits Marshadow for 81-95%. Clefable's Moonblast hits Marshadow for 67-79%.

How to Get Marshadow in Sword & Shield
Marshadow is not available as a wild encounter in this game.
This is an event-exclusive or special distribution.
Marshadow Guide
In Sword & Shield, Marshadow is a Mythical Pokemon rated A-Tier. At 600 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a sweeper. Base 125 Attack stands out.
Technician is what you want on Marshadow. Every competitive set worth running is built with that ability in mind. With base 125 Speed, Technician gives Marshadow an edge before opponents can react.
Base 125 Speed lets it outrun most of the field. On offense, Marshadow is a physical attacker with base 125 Attack. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two. Best used as a sweeper.
In Sword & Shield, the best way to handle Marshadow: Priority moves (Mach Punch, Aqua Jet, Ice Shard) bypass its speed. Bulky walls that resist its STAB also shut it down.
Game Availability
Marshadow first appeared in Sun & Moon and has been available in 4 titles. Mythical distribution means event-only access in most games, making it one of the harder Pokemon to collect.
