Lokix Weakness

Lokix is weak to Fire, Flying, Bug, Rock, and Fairy. On the flip side, it's immune to Psychic-type moves entirely. The Bug/Dark typing picks up 4 resistances to work with. Lokix leans offensive (base 102 Atk) rather than trying to tank its weaknesses.

Lokix Guide

  • In Winds & Waves, Lokix looks average on paper at 450 BST. But Tinted Lens is why it sees play. Build around that and it pulls its weight. C-Tier attacker on our tier list. Firstimpression with Heavy-Duty Boots is the standard set.

  • In Winds & Waves, Lokix's biggest threats include Blaziken (Fire), Staraptor (Flying), and Volcarona (Bug), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Rock and Fairy-type attackers are also a problem. With 5 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.

  • Lokix gets Tinted Lens and Swarm. But Tinted Lens is the one that matters. It's the centerpiece of every viable set. Build around that.

  • Lokix is a physical attacker with base 102 Attack. Enough bulk to take a hit or two, too. Speed tells the real story. Base 92 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. Fits the attacker role.

  • For Winds & Waves, the core moveset is Firstimpression, Knock Off, U Turn, and Sucker Punch. Firstimpression leads at 23% usage. This set covers the attacker role with a mix of damage and utility.

Game Availability

Since Scarlet & Violet, Lokix has been obtainable in 2 games. A Generation 9 debut means a shorter history, but Lokix has appeared steadily across every generation since.
