Stats & Training
An unusually even spread gives Litleo flexibility. Sp. Atk barely edges ahead. But Attack isn't far off. Easy to catch and follows a 1.06M XP medium-slow curve. Yields 1 Sp. Atk EV.
The stronger the opponent it faces, the more heat surges from its mane and the more power flows through its body.
They set off on their own from their pride and live by themselves to become stronger. These hot-blooded Pokémon are quick to fight.
Litleo Weakness
Litleo's Fire/Normal typing leaves it vulnerable to Water, Fighting, Ground, and Rock. It shrugs off Ghost-type attacks completely. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong.
| Damage | Types |
|---|---|
| 2x (Weak) | Water, Fighting, Ground, Rock |
| 0.5x (Resist) | Fire, Grass, Ice, Bug, Steel, Fairy |
| 0x (Immune) | Ghost |

Litleo Guide
Litleo is meant to evolve into Pyroar. At 369 BST, the stats aren't there for competitive play yet. Pre-evolution Pokemon rarely hold up against fully evolved threats.
Rivalry increases damage inflicted to 1.25× against Pokémon of the same gender, but decreases damage to 0.75× against the opposite gender. That's the one you want on Litleo. Moxie is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Unnerve works too if your team needs something different.
Base 72 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Litleo is a special attacker with base 73 Sp. Atk.
For Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire, you can run Litleo through the first few routes without issues. 369 BST won't carry you far though. Get it to Pyroar as fast as you can.
Game Availability
Litleo joined the series in X & Y and has been available in 6 titles so far. With 5 generations of appearances, it's established itself despite the later start.
