Delibird Weakness

Rock, Fire, Electric, and Steel moves hit Delibird for super-effective damage. Rock hits land at 4x, so they're the biggest threat. The upside? Ground-type moves can't touch it at all.

Moves

Don't skip the egg moves. Delibird picks up Aurora Beam and Bestow only through breeding, and both fill gaps the natural movepool can't. STAB runs through Sky Attack and Blizzard while coverage across 10 types adds range.

Delibird Guide

  • In Black 2 & White 2, watch for Golem (Rock), Arcanine (Fire), and Jolteon (Electric) when using Delibird. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. Golem is the most dangerous since Rock moves deal 4x damage. Steel-type attackers are also a problem.

  • In Black 2 & White 2, Delibird has niche appeal at best. 330 base stats means you're fighting uphill by mid-game. There are better Ice/Flying Pokemon available.

  • In Black 2 & White 2, Delibird has a 330 base stat total and ranks as D-Tier: outclassed by other options available in Black 2 & White 2. It works best as a balanced.

  • Vital Spirit prevents sleep. That's the one you want on Delibird. Insomnia is the hidden ability. Niche, but it has its uses. Hustle works too if your team needs something different.

  • In Black 2 & White 2, Ice/Flying typing gives Delibird 3 resistances plus Ground immunity. Speed at base 75 is the top stat. Dual typing means STAB coverage on both Ice and Flying moves.

Game Availability

Delibird first appeared in Gold & Silver and has been available in 18 games across 9 generations. Obtainable through wild encounters in most titles where it appears.
