Cursola Weakness
Cursola is weak to Ghost and Dark. On the flip side, it's immune to Normal and Fighting-type moves entirely. Cursola's special bulk (base 130 Sp.Def) helps absorb special-type weaknesses, though physical moves exploit the lower Defense.

Cursola Guide
In Winds & Waves, Cursola has a 510 base stat total and ranks as C-Tier: a niche pick in Winds & Waves's meta. It works best as a wallbreaker. Strengthsap with Leftovers is the standard set.
In Winds & Waves, Cursola's biggest threats include Gengar (Ghost) and Houndoom (Dark), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Only 2 weaknesses means fewer dedicated counters to worry about. At base 30 Speed, Cursola won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
Weak Armor is the go-to ability for Cursola. It raises Speed and lowers Defense by one stage each upon being hit by a physical move. Its hidden ability Perish Body can work in specific setups.
In Winds & Waves, Cursola fills the wallbreaker role. It's a special attacker with base 145 Sp. Atk. Base 30 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
For Winds & Waves, the core moveset is Strengthsap, Stealth Rock, Will O Wisp, and Night Shade. Strengthsap leads at 19% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
