Stats & Training
An unusually even spread gives Calyrex flexibility. HP barely edges ahead. But Attack isn't far off. Near-impossible to catch and follows a slow 1.25M XP grind. Yields 3 HP EVs.
It’s said that Calyrex and a Pokémon that had bonded with it ran all across the Galar region to bring green to the wastelands.
Legend says that by using its power to see all events from past to future, this Pokémon saved the creatures of a forest from a meteorite strike.
Calyrex Weakness
Type-wise, Calyrex takes extra damage from Bug, Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying, Ghost, and Dark. Watch out for Bug attacks, those deal 4x damage. With 6 resistances, the defensive profile is strong.

Moves
TMs carry this one. Calyrex learns Leaf Storm and Solar Blade naturally for STAB, but the offensive range comes almost entirely from technical machines. Normal and Fairy and beyond give it real matchup play.

Calyrex Guide
In Sword & Shield, Calyrex is a Legendary Pokemon rated C-Tier. At 500 BST, it hits hard. It excels as a balanced. Base 100 HP stands out.
In Sword & Shield, Calyrex's biggest threats include Volcarona (Bug), Kyurem (Ice), and Gengar (Poison), all carrying super-effective STAB moves. Volcarona is the most dangerous since Bug moves deal 4x damage. Fire, Flying, Ghost, and Dark-type attackers are also a problem. With 7 weakness types, most competitive teams carry at least one counter.
Unnerve is the go-to ability for Calyrex. It prevents opposing Pokémon from eating held Berries. It's Calyrex's only ability.
Base 80 Speed is workable. Faster than some, slower than many. On offense, Calyrex is a mixed attacker with base 80 Attack and 80 Sp. Atk. Defensively? Enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Sword & Shield, the best way to handle Calyrex: Super-effective STAB from faster Pokemon is the simplest answer. Bug, Fire, and Ice-type attackers hit hardest.
Game Availability
First obtainable in Sword & Shield, Calyrex has been featured in 2 titles across 3 generations. Legendary status means a single encounter per playthrough in most games.
