Breadth over depth defines this movepool. Copperajah won't stack one type's damage ceiling, but coverage across 11 types means it always has an effective option. Steel Roller and Iron Head anchor the STAB core.

Copperajah Sword & Shield Guide
In Sword & Shield, Don't let Copperajah's 500 base stat total fool you. Sheer Force is what makes it tick. It punches way above its weight class. We rate it B-Tier as a wallbreaker. Heatcrash with Assault Vest is the standard set.
In Sword & Shield, watch for Infernape (Fire), Conkeldurr (Fighting), and Landorus (Ground) when using Copperajah. They all hit it super-effectively with STAB. At base 30 Speed, Copperajah won't outrun any of these threats so switching to a resist is usually the safer play.
In Sword & Shield, Run Sheer Force on Copperajah. It's the ability that defines how you build around it and the main reason it holds a competitive niche. Copperajah also gets Heavy Metal, but they don't compare.
In Sword & Shield, Copperajah fills the wallbreaker role. It's a physical attacker with base 130 Attack. Base 30 Speed is low. Priority moves or Trick Room are the way to go. And it's enough bulk to take a hit or two.
In Sword & Shield, run Heatcrash, Powerwhip, Heavyslam, and Ironhead on Copperajah. Heatcrash is the most common pick at 0% usage. This set covers the wallbreaker role with a mix of damage and utility.
Game Availability
Copperajah first appeared in Sword & Shield and spans 2 games across 3 generations. It later gained a Gigantamax form in Generation 8, adding new dimensions to its competitive identity.
