These tools have been apart of the series since the beginning, they usually did not do anything until later games, but the Golden Shovel would allow you to grow Bell Trees.
How To Get The DIY Recipe For Golden Tools in ACNH
These tools require you to complete specific requirements in order to unlock them. They can take months of work, and some could take a week or so.
- Golden Rod (Catch every fish in the Critterpedia you will get this recipe in the mail.)
- Golden Net (Catch every bug in the Critterpedia, you will get the recipe in the mail.)
- Golden Shovel (You will need to help Gulliver 30 times, and you will receive the recipe in the mail. To help Gulliver, you will need to find his five communicator parts and bring them to him.)
- Golden Axe (You will need to break 100 axes, any axe can be broken, I recommend flimsy axes because they break the fastest and do NOT cut down trees.)
- Golden Slingshot (After Shooting 300 balloons and collecting your Nook Miles reward, sometimes a Golden Balloon might float by, shooting it down will reward you with the recipe.)
- Golden Watering Can (Get a Five Star Rating on your Island you can talk to Isabelle to ask her about your status. You must then keep the Five Star rating for 15 consecutive days.)
You are not required to donate the fish and bugs to the Museum, but since you have to capture one of each, I recommend donating each type of bug and fish.
How To Make Golden Tools in Animal Crossing New Horizons
Golden Tools CAN still break; they have the highest durability of any other tools.
You can only Craft these tools but you will have to unlock the DIY recipes in order to make them.
